Traditional Sussex village pub
We took on The Laughing Fish in March 2021, from the much loved Andy Brooks.
It has not been the easiest of starts due to the restrictions and poor weather, yet Suzie and I are overwhelmed and encouraged by the support and loyalty shown by the village. We cannot wait to get involved with all the village events and continue being the hub of the community.
We look forward to meeting more customers, old and new.

The pub
We are a country pub based in the lovely village of Isfield.

We have a large restaurant as well as a beautiful pub garden.
Our beers
We sell real ales - some of them from local independent brewers such as Long Man (Wilmington), Three Acre Brewery (Blackboys) and Gun Brewery (Gun Hill), and three of them are nationally available ales.

We also now have real ciders on tap, in addition to craft lagers and fine keg ciders such as Aspall.
Food
We are well known for our no-nonsense home-made food such as proper shortcrust pastry pies, locally sourced seasonal meat, fish and produce, and a selection of regularly changing meals alongside sandwiches and burgers.
